Sharp Cheddar Cheese

Cow's milk, USA

This month we wanted to find great cheese and wine pairings from common cheeses that can be found in any grocery store. There are a few types of cheddar cheese you will find in the grocery store. There is colby, mild, and sharp. For this paring make sure you pick the sharp. It goes quite perfectly with Zinfandel. The sharp notes of the cheese brings out the fruit in the Zin and the Zin brings out some lovely sweet and floral notes in the cheese.

Brie Cheese

Cows milk, France
Brie Cheese is perfect with a sweet wine. Brie can either be very wallet freindly, or very expensive. Either price point will match perfectly with EagleWine Muscat Canelli. Add some sliced apples or grapes and you have an elegant cheese course or a scrumptous snack!
